We Have Some Great Things Planned!

Each year local citizens and high school groups take a morning to clean up the town. Volunteers pick up trash along the roadways, collect old appliances, oil and tires, and help clean yards, trim trees and haul gathered garbage to the dump for the elderly residents in town. A springtime favorite for Moorcroft's families! The annual Easter Egg Hunt brings the community together for a morning of fun for the kids. Presented in partnership with the Moorcroft Town Center. Watch for the announcement of this year's date and details.

Country Junkin' is a county-wide yard sale weekend presented jointly by the Sundance, Hulett, and Moorcroft Area Chambers of Commerce. Hunt for treasures across the whole county — it's a great excuse for a road trip and a fun weekend of bargain-finding throughout Crook County.

The Heritage Round-Up is the kick-off fundraising event for the West Texas Trail Museum. The MACC, along with the WTTM (Moorcroft Historical Society), invites the public to an evening of living-history demonstrations — forging, rope making, butter churning, saddle cleaning, pallet flag art and Dutch-oven cooking — plus live fiddle music, food and great company. A wonderful celebration of our Western heritage.

Join us for our annual MACC Community Banquet — an evening of dinner, awards, and community celebration. The banquet is where we announce our Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year award winners, and recognize the people and businesses who make Moorcroft great. Presented by the MACC. Every summer Moorcroft celebrates its heritage and community spirit with Jubilee Days — our biggest event of the year! It draws together local residents, area community members, businesses, ranches, civic organizations, churches, former MHS alumni and tourists to highlight the history and uniqueness of our town. The weekend features a parade, activities for the whole family, and plenty of small-town fun. Presented by the MACC. The Officers and Members of the MACC meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, and we'd like to invite you to come join us! During the meeting we discuss local business and community matters that are important to all residents and merchants in Moorcroft, plan upcoming events, and sign up volunteers for community events & projects.
