Keyhole State Park

Keyhole State Park offers swimming, hiking, boating, water skiing, bird-watching and fishing — some of the state’s largest fish have been caught here. Reserve one of 3 group shelters for weddings, family get-togethers and company picnics. Located on the western edge of the Black Hills between Sundance and Moorcroft, the park is easily accessed off I-90 at exit 165: travel north 6 miles to Park Headquarters. Choose from ten campgrounds — all camping is by reservation (877-WYO-PARK or the RA Camping app).

First established in 1958, Devils Tower Natural History Association (DTNHA) is a not-for-profit corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Wyoming. DTNHA’s mission is to promote understanding and conservation of the natural, cultural, and historical resources of the monument through education, public information, and service. The visitor center, where the DTNHA bookstore is located, is open year round (seasonal hours vary).

The Moorcroft Senior Citizen Center is located at the Moorcroft Town Center, open 8am–2pm Monday through Friday. Mondays offer sewing and quilting with a fabric shop; Tuesdays feature morning yoga and afternoon cards and games; Wednesdays, coast over hump day with coffee & rolls and local musicians. There are also frequent foot clinics, massages, monthly birthday celebrations and holiday meals. The Center is a member of the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce.

Crook County Senior Services, Inc.

CCSS Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to our communities’ seniors and others in need of services. They provide senior programs and assistance for individuals 60 and over, Monday–Friday 8am–4pm. Programs include a Nutrition Program, Senior Companion Assistance, Medical Alert, Respite Care, Personal Care, Homemaking Services, AARP Driver Safety Classes, social activities, and blood pressure & toenail clinics. Funded by state and federal grants with assistance from Crook County Commissioners and the Towns of Sundance, Hulett, and Moorcroft.

American Legion & VFW Auxiliaries

Serving Moorcroft and the surrounding area to honor those who have served and are serving in all branches of the military. The American Legion Auxiliary has been a vital part of the Moorcroft community for many years — sponsoring scholarships, donating to civic and school activities, participating in the Jubilee celebration and ice cream social, sending care packages to deployed soldiers, providing cookies to the Sheridan and Buffalo Veterans Homes, and running a Christmas gift drive for veterans.

The Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) is working hard at putting the “Unity back in Community.” MIC is a group of community members from many different faiths who strive every day to live by the Golden Rule — “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Matthew 7:12). First Presbyterian Church

The First Presbyterian Church of Moorcroft (FPCM) is a local non-profit congregation interested in being an active part of the community. We are very active in youth ministry with our Wednesday night Logos Youth Program, and host Financial Peace University classes and other learning events. As the leading financial contributor to the Moorcroft Emergency Fund (overseen by the Moorcroft Police Department), FPCM supports local families and transients in need. Our members provide holiday meals for underprivileged families and collect winter apparel for those in need. Everyone is always welcome in our congregation!
